Elbert Horace "Bert" Edmands

Bert was an elder sibling of Ernest Carl Edmands, 1884-1928 (our ancestor). This relative was always known to me as Elbert H. Edmands. I had assumed that it was possible that Bert's middle name was Harold, since that is what he named his son. My grandmother, his sister-in-law, Mary Caroline Findley Edmands (our ancestor) referred to him as "Bert" in her diaries. a descendant of Bert's oldest brother, Arthur Seymour Edmands, 1862-1951, has the middle name as Horace.
