Here will be a chart showing the descent from William Edmands, 1610-1693 and Mary UNKNOWN Edmands, d. 1657, 13 generations back from the current babies. William and Mary were great-great-great-great-great-great-grandparents of Grandfather Ernest Carl Edmands, 1884-1928.

Edmunds is a variant spelling of the troublesome Edmands, and it was perhaps the preferred spelling in those days.
