"Samuel Phelps 5 (Samuel 4-3, Edward 2, Henry 1) and wife Priscilla Chandler had Joshua 6 born June 25, 1738 who married Lois Ballard in 1767, daughter of Hezekiah Ballard and wife Lydia Chandler, born July 19, 1746. He died Dec. 23, 1798, and she died Dec. 21, 1836."
